Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable, experienced caregiver to provide inhome support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys companionship and has experience in memory care.
About the Client: The client is a warm, upbeat individual who values kindness and lighthearted interaction. She prefers caregivers who are supportive but not overly directive. She enjoys sitting outside on the porch and engaging in pleasant conversation.
Care Needs Include:
- Assistance with showering and personal care
- Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and general home support
- Mobility assistance (client uses a walker at all times and is in therapy)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring safety due to fall risk, vision/hearing impairment, and mild memory loss
- Occasional assistance with incontinence care
Additional Details: No smoking. Clean home; one room used for storage. Transportation required for medical appointments.
Requirements
- Experience with memory care
- Dependable and punctual
- Compassionate, patient, and easygoing personality
- Must speak English
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Reliable transportation (for errands and appointments)
- Prior experience with senior care and memory support
- Ability to assist safely with bathing and home tasks
- Female caregiver preferred (client comfort preference)
- Must be dependable and trustworthy
