Personal Care Assistant - Full time 7am-3pm

About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver at The Grove at Oakleaf Village, you will provide direct resident care and help our residents thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. You will work as part of a team to ensure residents have a comfortable and safe place to call home.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents, including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming such as bathing and toileting.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner and respond to resident and/or family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organized and self-motivated to provide excellent care for residents.
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members, and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Pay

$16/hour plus shift differential.

Schedule

Full time, 7am-3pm.
