Personal Care Assistant Full time 7am-3pm

At Wallick Senior Living, our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) play a vital role in ensuring our residents live their best lives. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and support, fostering a sense of community and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Perform physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and address resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Absorb and assist residents to and from activities, dining rooms, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organized and self-motivated to deliver high-quality care.
• CPR certified. Nurse Aide certification is preferred but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical (completed by our Nurse Practitioner).
• Background check is required.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$16/hr plus shift differential
