Personal Care Assistant Full time 11pm-7am

About the role

A Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver position is available at The Ashford Sturbridge in Hilliard, OH. This full-time position operates from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Perform physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond appropriately to resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Organized and self-motivated to provide excellent care for residents.
• CPR certified. Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members, and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical (completed by our Nurse Practitioner).
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Pay

The hourly rate is $16/hr plus shift differential.
