Responsibilities
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers within the home as tolerated and directed.
- Support with daily living tasks such as light personal care, comfort positioning, and monitoring for safety.
- Help with household chores including light house cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a calm, safe environment.
- Offer companionship, social interaction, and emotional support to help combat depression and isolation.
- Communicate clearly and reliably with both the participant and office staff, providing updates and reporting any changes in condition.
Qualifications
- Genuine alignment with values of respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care.
- Experience or comfort working with individuals who have complex medical conditions and chronic pain.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to consistent updates and reliability.
- Ability to recognize needs, prioritize tasks, and take initiative in the home.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in both appearance and behavior.
- Previous caregiving, home care, or life enrichment experience preferred.
Pay
$19/hr
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm (40 hours)
