About the Role
As an Associate Banker, you will work as an individual contributor at a steady pace with clear direction, established processes, and minimal dependence on others. Your role will involve:
- Meeting and providing exceptional service to a diverse audience
- Introducing clients to new products, services, and digital solutions
- Processing account transactions
- Working toward individual and banking center sales and service goals
- Assisting other departments as needed
- Building rapport with clients and associates while treating everyone with respect
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Skills
Ideal candidates should possess some or all of the following:
- Previous banking, cash handling, or financial service experience
- 6+ months of demonstrated successful sales experience
- Bilingual language skills
- Passionate and motivated self-starter
- Passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies
- Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately
- Logical thinking to analyze situations and make sound decisions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with multiple computer and software systems
- Ability to calculate figures such as cash back and percentages
Work Environment
- Decisions are made efficiently, fairly, and locally, with a focus on clarity and simplicity.
- Associates may need to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise, and hold hands and arms overhead for certain tasks.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary (typically no more than 5%).
- Flexible scheduling based on business needs.
