About the role

Personal Bankers provide products and services to enhance customer relationships by getting to know customers, understanding and educating them regarding their financial needs, and recommending appropriate products and services through in-person interactions and outbound calling efforts.
This role includes opening new accounts, submitting loan applications, resolving customer service issues, performing account maintenance, and promoting the Bank’s digital banking services. Personal Bankers also assist with teller transactions, processing them in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner.
We provide a continuous learning environment with challenging work and opportunities for advancement. Training spans 4–6 months and covers transaction processing, account opening, referral techniques, customer service, and relationship-building methods.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand and educate them on financial needs
- Recommend and sell appropriate bank products and services
- Open new accounts and submit loan applications
- Comply with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Resolve customer service issues and perform account maintenance
- Promote and assist customers with digital banking services
- Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently
- Conduct outbound calling to expand the branch’s customer base
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Prior sales experience
- Proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to market Bank products and services
- One year of previous banking experience preferred
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment strongly preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa petition (e.g., H-1B).
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week with a flexible rotating weekly schedule. Typical hours: Monday–Friday 8 AM–6 PM, Saturday 9 AM–1 PM. Requires 2–3 Saturdays per month; schedule may change based on business needs.
Pay
Salary range: $37,440 – $52,800. Individual base pay varies based on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and other business needs. Eligible Associates may receive discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
