TheKey is seeking a Personal Assistant with exceptional presentation and professionalism to support a VIP client in a highly personalized, one‑on‑one care environment in Streeterville. Pay
$35.00‑$40.00 per hour (for this specific case).
Schedule
8‑10 hour shifts, 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with coverage needed 7 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide cognitive and behavioral support: gentle reminders, redirection, and structure to reduce confusion and anxiety.
- Assist with personal care: dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience.
- Help maintain home safety and housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing to keep a calm, familiar, organized environment.
- Provide transportation: drive clients to appointments, run errands, and grocery shop.
- Offer companionship: conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
- Valid and active CNA or LPN certification.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- Fall and fall‑prevention experience required.
- Availability for occasional travel.
