Person in Charge (PIC)

Role Overview: This position involves overseeing store operations in the absence of management to ensure efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service. The role includes supervising associates, maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels, and ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and guest experience standards. Key Responsibilities Monitor associate adherence to policies and conduct regular inspections.Operate cashier and courtesy desk, handle customer concerns efficiently.Manage store closing procedures and maintain store safety and cleanliness.Assist customers with product location and ensure a welcoming environment.Perform tasks across departments as needed and provide feedback to management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma preferred; retail or related experience is a plus.Strong communication, basic math skills, and attention to detail.Ability to interpret documents, suggest products, and handle physical demands (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking). Physical & Environment Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks in varied store conditions, including lifting, standing, and exposure to environmental factors.
