Responsibilities
- Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
- Wipe table tops and chairs with a damp cloth.
- Replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware.
- Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in the dining room.
- Supply service bar with food such as soups, salads, and desserts.
- Serve ice water and butter to patrons.
- Clean and polish glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers.
- Make coffee and fill fruit juice dispensers.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Support and maintain the company courtesy guidelines and promote outstanding guest relations.
Qualifications
- Ability to maneuver to all areas of the hotel.
- Frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at the assigned desk area.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Basic English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
