About the Role
This position oversees store operations in the absence of management to ensure efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor associate adherence to policies
- Handle customer concerns
- Conduct store inspections
- Manage safety and emergency equipment
- Maintain store cleanliness and stocking
- Close the store when required
- Assist customers with product locations
- Perform tasks in other departments as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- At least one year of retail or related experience
- Strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills
- Basic math abilities
- Product knowledge for suggestive selling
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret documents
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform bending, stooping, and twisting
- Work in varied temperatures and typical retail noise levels
