Role Overview: This position oversees store operations in the absence of management to ensure efficient and profitable functioning. Responsibilities include monitoring employee adherence to policies, handling customer concerns at cashier and courtesy counters, conducting safety and cleanliness inspections, and managing store closing procedures. The role requires knowledge of store layout, product locations, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked environment. Additional duties involve following safety, food safety, guest experience guidelines, and performing tasks in other departments as needed. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma preferred with at least one year of retail or related experience. Must have strong reading, writing, comprehension, and basic math skills. Knowledge of suggestive selling and product familiarity is desirable. The role demands attention to detail and physical ability to lift 30-50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and perform in a retail environment with varied temperatures and moderate noise. Key Requirements: Ability to interpret documents, follow safety and food safety standards, and provide excellent customer service. The position may involve occasional travel and requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach to store management and customer satisfaction.
