Role Overview

This position involves overseeing store operations in the absence of management to ensure efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include monitoring staff adherence to policies, managing cashier and courtesy desk functions, conducting regular store inspections, maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels, and ensuring safety and food safety standards are met. The role may require closing the store, assisting customers with product locations, and performing tasks across departments based on customer needs. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Key Duties

• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines
• Assist customers efficiently and handle concerns

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma (preferred)
• At least one year of retail or related experience
• Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Knowledge of suggestive selling and product locations
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret documents
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and exposure to varied store environments
