Perioperative Nurse Educator

Role: RN Educator for perioperative services, responsible for leading unit-based education for OR nurses and support staff in a safety-net setting. Key Responsibilities: Design, deliver, and evaluate orientation programs, ongoing competencies, and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve safety, quality, and culturally responsive care. Collaboration: Partner with nursing leadership, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to mentor staff, support practice improvements, and promote health equity within a diverse, underserved community. Qualifications & Skills: Strong leadership, educational, and mentorship abilities; knowledge of perioperative practices; commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and health equity; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
