Perioperative Nurse Educator

Role: RN Educator for perioperative services, focusing on unit-based education for OR nurses and support staff in a safety-net setting. Responsibilities: Design, deliver, and evaluate orientation programs, ongoing competencies, and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve safety, quality, and culturally responsive care. Partnerships: Collaborate with nursing leadership, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to mentor staff, support practice changes, and promote health equity. Qualifications & Skills: Strong expertise in perioperative nursing education, leadership abilities, and a commitment to serving diverse, underserved communities. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and ability to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
