Perioperative Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Full-Time

About the role

This role involves collaborating with pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare providers to deliver tailored anesthesia care for pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments by reviewing medical histories and medications.
• Identify risks, discuss anesthesia options, develop individualized care plans, and obtain informed consent.
• Administer various anesthetic techniques such as general, regional, and local anesthesia, including sedation and nerve blocks.
• Induce and maintain anesthesia during surgical and diagnostic procedures, monitor physiological responses, and adjust anesthesia accordingly.
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery, respond to emergencies, and provide airway management and resuscitation when needed.
• Educate patients and families on anesthesia processes, risks, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless perioperative care and mentor students or new professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) in a related field.
• Registered Nurse licensure, CRNA certification, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
