About the role
This position provides perioperative care to patients in the operating room setting.Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery.
- Administer medications and fluids as directed by a physician.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Current CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of surgical procedures.
