Responsibilities
- Assists the Physicians and Registered Nurses within Surgical Services
- Facilitates a smooth transition between surgical procedures
- Aids nursing staff in maintaining a clean environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year prior work experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Preferred: Undergraduate degree, completion of a Medical Terminology course, bilingual in Spanish, previous health care experience
Qualifications
- Completion of a training program lasting 4-5 weeks on 8-hour shifts
- Primary shift will be 12-hour shifts after completing training
