Perinatal Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to pregnant and postpartum clients
• Support clients experiencing PMADs, postpartum depression/anxiety, birth trauma, infertility, pregnancy loss, and parenting adjustment challenges
• Maintain 65% face-to-face productivity through direct clinical services and crisis intervention
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans
• Provide case management, care coordination, and follow-up for assigned caseload
• Collaborate with external providers and interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure continuity of care
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with organizational standards
• Provide psychoeducation, risk screenings, and referrals for psychiatric or substance use services as needed
• Participate in supervision, trainings, meetings, community outreach, and other assigned duties

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
• LSW/LAC required, LCSW/LPC preferred or Licensed Psychologist
• 1 year post-masters experience, or 2 years experience in a mental health/substance abuse setting
• Knowledge of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders strongly preferred
• Experience working with pregnant/postpartum individuals, children, and families preferred
• Training in perinatal mental health or PMH-C certification preferred but not required
• Experience with CBT, DBT, attachment-based therapy, or trauma-focused interventions
• Experience facilitating support groups or parenting groups preferred
