Per Diem Therapist Applied Behavior Analysis

About the role

Works directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and their families.

Responsibilities

• Implements the behavior, treatment plans developed by the BCBA team.
• Builds a rapport with the learner and works with learner and family on goals outlined in his/her treatment, behavior plan.
• Keeps data on all learner and group sessions and tracks progress toward treatment goals.
• Attends Binder Autism Center program events throughout the year, including picnics, holiday parties, bowling, field trips, etc.

Qualifications

• The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, behavior analysis or closely related field.
• Two to three years experience working with children diagnosed with Autism.

Employment requirements

• Successful completion of an FBI criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• Re-screening required every two years in accordance with DHS and DCF regulations.
