About the role
Brennan Behavior Group is seeking experienced ABA Line Technicians to join their behavioral intervention team. This is an entry-level position with potential for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Provide ABA services to children and adolescents
- Implement individualized behavioral programming in various settings
- Teach new skills such as social, communication, and daily living skills
- Respond effectively to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors
- Create a fun, motivating environment to enhance performance
- Collect and track data on programming targets using an online system
- Support parents, teachers, and caregivers
Qualifications
- Registered Line Technician with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (or equivalent)
- Previous experience with autism/ABA is helpful
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- No past criminal history
- A genuine passion for working with children with special needs
- Ability to sit on the floor for long periods and be on feet for extended times
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to stay within 5 feet of the client at all times, including during elopement incidents
- Ability to actively engage in interactive games/activities and implement interventions to prevent, reduce, and deescalate challenging behaviors
