The RTC Registered Nurse position at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical nursing knowledge and skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Apply clinical nursing knowledge and skills to promote patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care through education, nursing assessment, and medication administration
- Assess physiological and psychosocial needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Communicate patient concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Valid and current Texas RN license
- BLS through American Heart Association
- ACLS within 3 months of employment
- Completion annually of 10 CEU's related to Emergency Care
- 3+ years RN experience OR 1+ years in ICU and/or Emergency Department
- Experience with EMRs
- Basic Computer Skills
- Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy
- Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor degree in Nursing
- Preferred: ACLS
- Preferred: CCRN
- Preferred: ICU experience or 5+ years of experience in Emergency Department
- Preferred: EPIC experience
- Preferred: IV access experience
- Preferred: Port access experience
Skills
- Strong clinical nursing skills

Pay and Schedule
The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
