Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed
• Adhere to AARC guidelines and professional practice standards
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes
• Demonstrate agility in taking on new and additional responsibilities
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner-accredited Respiratory Therapist program (registry eligible)
• Current CRT and/or RRT credential
• Valid state Respiratory Care license if required in the state of work
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and health personnel
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
