Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Per Diem

Select Specialty Hospital - Morgantown is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Respiratory Therapists (RT) play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent treatment during some of the most vulnerable moments of our patients' lives.

About the role

This is a per diem/PRN position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. Successful candidates may have the potential to transition into full-time roles based on performance and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
• Teach and counsel patients and their families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma (preferred), high school transcript/diploma, or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure.
• ACLS certification required upon hire (agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift).

Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.

Pay

$40.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends.
