Job Summary

Lab instructor of Doctor of Physical Therapy program courses.

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to the teaching of adults, teaching methodology, curriculum development and evaluation.
  • Plan and provide theoretical instruction and clinical or laboratory experience that reflect and understanding of the philosophy, objectives and curriculum of the PTRS degree or certificate programs.
  • Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes.
  • Maintain communication with the course and program director(s) regarding any course or student issues.
  • Commitment to actively advancing physical therapy education and practice. Alignment with the mission and direction of the PTRS Department.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, Kinesiology.

Physical Demands

  • Sitting at a desk/table
  • Standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, stooping
  • Lifting demands ≤ 25lbs

Additional Information

  • This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt.
  • The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
