Per Diem Instructor

About the role
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service. This position reports to Heather Voss and is a 0.0 FTE per diem appointment.
Responsibilities
Education Activities
- Didactic Teaching: Provides effective classroom instruction based on teaching assignments, using appropriate instructional technologies to ensure that course outcomes are met. Participates collaboratively in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum.
- Clinical Teaching: Plans, supervises, and delivers effective clinical instruction in lab, simulation, and real-world healthcare settings, ensuring students apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
- Other Activities: The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service.
Requirements
- Oregon RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Qualifications
- Lecturer: BSN ($42.87-$48.85/hr.)
- Instructor: MSN ($49.34-$56.75/hr.)
- Assistant Professor: $53.97-$62.07/hr.
