About the role

As part of the HR Shared Services team (HR Connects), the Shared Services Benefits team is responsible for Benefits Administration. Together with the Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) Team, you will ensure that all benefits programs are successfully executed, seamlessly integrated with hospital operations, and accessible to employees. You'll help to provide the necessary feedback from our employees to the Benefits Team which helps to manage vendor relationships. With a primary focus on enrollment processes, handling system configurations, and employee communications, you will focus on the practical application of benefits offerings. Bridge the gap between concept and reality, ensuring that employees can fully utilize their benefits as intended. The HRC Benefits team and HRBP connect when it comes to any and all employee benefit issues or concerns, regardless of position, department, or campus. The only questions you may not need to assist with are healthcare questions (medical/dental coverage) for some union groups.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on enrollment processes, handling system configurations, and employee communications
  • Apply benefits offerings practically to ensure employees can fully utilize their benefits as intended
  • Provide feedback from employees to the Benefits Team to help manage vendor relationships
  • Address employee benefit issues or concerns across all positions, departments, and campuses
  • Report audit findings to stakeholders
  • Interact with employees across the hospital

Required Criteria

  • Associate's degree or relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and promote harmonious relationships
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes
  • Time management and ability to adhere to deadlines

Preferred Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous human resources experience and/or internship experience
  • Experience working in HRIS system and customer service management systems
  • Ability to report audit findings to stakeholders
  • Desire to interact with employees across the hospital

Pay

$40.00/Hourly

Schedule

Day Shift (Flex) — may require rotating days of the week.
