HR Connects Advisor – HR Shared Services – Day Flex - Temporary

About the role

At NewYork-Presbyterian, we have a new vision for the way we deliver exceptional service to our employees through our Human Resources Shared Services model, known as HR Connects. As part of the HR Connects team, you’ll help ensure our employees can do what they do best: deliver top-notch patient care every day. This role specializes in new hire onboarding processes for one of New York City’s largest private employers, guiding new employees through the onboarding experience with an emphasis on quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of new hire documentation, maintaining compliance with all hospital, Joint Commission, Federal, State, and regulatory agency guidelines
• Master the case management platform to provide a broad scope of services by phone, email, and chat to resolve customer inquiries related to onboarding, employee relations, and HR policies
• Assist other teams across HR Shared Services such as Benefits, Leave Management, or Workforce Administration as needed

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or relevant experience
• Commitment to contributing to a positive, respectful, and fun work culture
• Strong communication skills
• Desire to interact with employees across the hospital

Qualifications

• Previous human resources work and/or internship experience (willing to train smart, enthusiastic, confident professionals passionate about providing exceptional experiences)
• Bachelor’s degree

Schedule

Hours vary between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, five days per week. This is a temporary position lasting 12–18 months with full-time weekly hours and the ability to work remotely.

Pay

Starting rate: $29.00 per hour. Salary range: $27.00–$39.50 per hour.

Location & on-site expectations

All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Employees must live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
