Per Diem Hospice Residence Aide
About the role
Hospice Residence Aide Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks experienced, talented, and compassionate per diem hospice aides to join our Residence, located in Wayland (MA).
Job Responsibilities
- Provides hospice client care in the hospice residence within their scope of practice, consistent with the plan of care and in compliance with Good Shepherd Care Guidelines.
Schedule and Weekly Hours
- Day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm
- Night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am
Education, Skills and Experience
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current Massachusetts certification in good standing
- A minimum of two years of prior experience in community health, long-term care facility, oncology, or a related field preferred
- Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with patients, families, co-workers, and management
