Resident Care Aide
Schedule: Per Diem
Salary: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour with shift differential - based on experience

Responsibilities
- Assisting memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence
- Maintain and document proper records of care
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
- Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.
- Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred or as required by law
- One year working in a care-giving capacity preferred
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
