Per Diem, Employee Health Nurse

About the role

As a Per Diem Employee Health Nurse at Main Line Health, you will serve as a welcoming and knowledgeable healthcare resource for new hires, guiding them through required health screenings, vaccination requirements, occupational health documentation, and other onboarding-related health standards. This role ensures a smooth, supportive, and professional preboarding experience while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all employee health requirements.

The position covers shifts at our Concordville and Broomall locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Preboarding appointments by guiding new employees through health screenings and vaccination requirements.
• Ensure completion of occupational health documentation and other onboarding-related health standards.
• Provide excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication to create a positive experience for new hires.
• Work at Concordville and Broomall locations to cover shifts as required.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years’ experience preferred.
• Some weekend or evening work required.
• Must have own transportation.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree is required.
• PA Nursing License or Compact Nursing license.
• Driver’s License.
• Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) required.

Schedule

The hours are Monday through Friday, with shifts of either 8 or 10 hours. Possible shift times include:

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
