About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Application Developer to support a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade and enhancement project for a U.S. Federal client. The consultant will support functional and technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment. This position requires hands-on PeopleSoft HCM experience along with the ability to work across both functional and technical areas. Previous Federal, State, Local Government, or public-sector experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade and enhancement activities.
- Participate in requirements gathering and requirements analysis sessions.
- Configure PeopleSoft HCM modules based on approved functional specifications.
- Develop and modify PeopleCode, SQR, and Application Engine programs.
- Support PeopleSoft HCM customizations, enhancements, integrations, and interfaces.
- Develop and support Integration Broker components and web services.
- Contribute to functional and technical design documentation.
- Create and execute test scripts to validate configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot defects and support resolution during testing.
- Support project activities across Study, Design, Build/Test, and Deployment phases.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, testing, and client teams throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft HCM experience.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x; PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrade projects.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleCode, SQR, and Application Engine.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM configuration and customization.
- Experience gathering and analyzing functional requirements.
- Experience creating or contributing to functional and technical design documentation.
- Experience creating and executing test scripts.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft upgrade tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker, web services, and interface development.
- Ability to work effectively across both functional and technical PeopleSoft activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Federal, State, Local Government, utility, or other public-sector project experience.
- Direct PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade experience.
- PeopleSoft certification(s).
Clearance Requirement
This position supports a U.S. Federal client. Candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Pay
$65–$70/hour (W2 basis).
