About the role

The People & Talent Specialist helps create a great experience for both candidates and teammates. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, teammate support, and engagement activities while serving as a trusted People & Culture resource for office and production teammates. You'll work closely with leaders across the organization to attract great talent, support new hires, strengthen teammate engagement, and help improve People & Culture processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping others, staying organized, and making a positive impact on the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting & Talent Acquisition:
    • Manage recruiting activities from sourcing through offer acceptance.
    • Screen candidates and coordinate interviews.
    • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
    • Build talent pipelines for key positions.
    • Partner with hiring managers to fill open roles efficiently.
    • Help improve recruiting processes and reduce time-to-fill.
  • Onboarding & New Hire Experience:
    • Coordinate onboarding activities for new teammates.
    • Facilitate New Hire Orientation and onboarding communications.
    • Ensure new hires are prepared for a successful first day.
    • Partner with leaders to create a positive onboarding experience.
    • Gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Teammate Support & Engagement:
    • Serve as a day-to-day People & Culture resource.
    • Support office and production teammates with questions and requests.
    • Aid in teammate recognition, celebrations, and engagement initiatives.
    • Build relationships and maintain a visible presence throughout the facility.
    • Create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • People Operations:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
    • Assist with HR administration and People & Culture processes.
    • Support compliance and document management activities.
    • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve People & Culture processes.
    • Use technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
    • Analyze teammate feedback and trends to support decision-making.
    • Contribute ideas that improve the teammate and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, Human Resources, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting both office and frontline/production teammates.
  • Experience with Paycor or other HRIS systems.
  • Experience with onboarding, employee engagement, or People Operations.
  • Experience using technology, automation, or AI tools to improve processes.
