People & Talent Operations Specialist

About the role

The People & Talent Operations Specialist will support Kai's growing team by coordinating interviews, managing offer processes, supporting immigration processes, and improving onboarding procedures. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews across multiple teams, ensuring a smooth and high-quality candidate experience
• Manage offer processes end-to-end, including drafting, approvals, and communication with candidates
• Support immigration processes in partnership with external counsel and internal stakeholders
• Own and continuously improve onboarding processes to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one
• Maintain accurate records across HR systems and ensure data integrity
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep hiring processes on track
• Aid in People operations processes, documentation, and compliance needs
• Act as a point of contact for candidates and new hires, providing timely and clear communication

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in HR and People Operations roles, with strong exposure to coordination and operational execution in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Highly collaborative and team-oriented
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience supporting immigration processes (e.g., H-1B, transfers, etc.)

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups, familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems
