People Specialist II

IDR is seeking a People Specialist II to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you will provide advanced HR shared services support, responding to complex teammate and leader inquiries while delivering an exceptional service experience. About the Role

• Provide advanced support for complex, escalated HR inquiries from teammates and leaders across the organization.
• Research, document, and resolve cases related to People Services topics such as benefits, compensation, talent management, and learning support.
• Partner cross-functionally to solve issues efficiently while maintaining a high-quality teammate experience.
• Serve as a subject matter resource by coaching, mentoring, and supporting Tier 1 specialists to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, self-service content, and AI-assisted tools to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in customer service, HR support, or HR shared services environments
• Proficiency navigating HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) to research and resolve people-related inquiries
• Experience using case management tools (ServiceNow preferred) to track, document, and manage complex cases
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, or train peers and stakeholders
• Advanced critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workload independently with sound discretion
