Responsibilities

  • Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure our policies stay up-to-date with local and federal labor laws.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead the orientation process to ensure a warm welcome for new hires and conduct professional exit interviews.
  • Benefits & Payroll Support: Own the end-to-end benefits lifecycle and partner with finance to ensure 100% accuracy in our multi-state payroll processing.
  • Office: Be the go-to person for our San Diego office and be on-site when needed.
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all US roles, including job postings, initial screenings, and scheduling.
  • Culture & Engagement: Coordinate team-building events, assist in implementing employee recognition programs, conduct one-on-one meetings with employees.
  • Design, coordinate, and continuously improve Learning & Development activities, including leadership academies, internal training, and skill-building programs.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a People Partner role (Coordinator or Generalist level).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paychex, Flock, Lever, Checkr, E-verify, Lattice) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with total discretion.
  • High emotional intelligence to navigate tough employee relations conversations with empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Skills

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, TX, CO, TN, OH, PA, and DE labor laws. Must be willing to gain knowledge for other states where future employees are hired.

Pay

Salary range: $71k - 84k + equity

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, accident, and life insurance options
  • PTO package
  • Paid holidays
  • 401(k) plan
