Overview

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform that enables businesses to accept payments and grow their revenue globally. As part of our mission to increase the GDP of the internet, we are seeking a People Partner (HRBP) to support leaders and managers in driving our people strategy and fostering a thriving, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to align their business and people strategies, enhancing the user and Stripe experience
• Develop and implement programs across functions to advance our people strategy
• Leverage data and insights to inform strategy, structure, and program design, promoting organizational health and productivity
• Advise and coach leaders and managers on organizational design, change management, and other initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and collaboration
• Support leaders in talent and organizational planning, identifying critical talent and planning for future needs and goals
• Promote a culture guided by Stripe's operating principles, elevating the caliber and kindness of employees and fostering better ways of working together
• Support the Leadership team and organization through growth and evolution

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an HR business partner, preferably with a mix of experience in fast-growing technology companies and more established organizations
• Experience partnering and influencing senior leaders to drive and align people strategy and increase business results
• Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to partner and influence across diverse groups and experience levels
• A strategist and scaler who connects the dots between our goals and organizational needs
• A partner and connector who builds trusted relationships with managers and leaders by providing deep insights and helping them see around corners
• A business partner who deeply understands Stripe's strategy and aligns it with the organization's structures, processes, initiatives, and operations
• A collaborator who gets energized by working with leaders to create high-impact teams and organizational structures
• A strategic thinker whose decisions are informed by data, experience, and Stripe's operating principles
• A coach who loves building and developing high-impact teams

Location and Schedule

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are expected to spend at least 50% of the time in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team, and location. Some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, as discussed by the hiring manager. This approach balances in-person collaboration and learning with flexibility.

Compensation

The annual US base salary range for this role is $182,400 - $273,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, including both sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary. The salary range may be narrowed based on a variety of factors during the interview process, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
