About the role

We are seeking an energetic and employee-focused People Operations Specialist to support key HR programs and initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with employees, managers, and HR colleagues to deliver a positive employee experience while ensuring the effective execution of people programs and day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and new hire integration, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and managers.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Serve as a resource for employee questions and connect employees with appropriate HR programs, policies, and support.
  • Support recruiting activities, interview scheduling, and candidate experience.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including timelines, communications, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Provide backup support for HRIS administration including employee inquiries, system testing, reporting, audits, and data validation activities.
  • Maintain HR policies, documentation, employee records, and training materials while supporting compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support compliance activities, workplace investigations, and organizational change initiatives as needed.
  • Partners with HR colleagues across Total Rewards, HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to execute people programs and support business priorities.
  • Coordinate HR projects and cross-functional initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen the employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Experience, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting employee programs, recruiting, onboarding, or HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Pay

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and represents Welch’s good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
