People Operations Specialist

About the role

The role owns day-to-day People Operations functions, ensuring smooth HR processes, compliance, and employee support across a growing organization. The team relies on this position to maintain pristine HRIS data, administer benefits, and drive continuous improvement across people programs using modern tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees, ensuring a seamless experience
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data (Rippling, Workday, or similar platforms) while ensuring strict data privacy
• Administer global benefits programs, answer employee inquiries, and coordinate annual open enrollment
• Ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws across multiple jurisdictions
• Partner with finance and payroll to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing and equity administration
• Support people-team initiatives, performance review cycles, and employee engagement surveys

What we are looking for

• 2–4 years of experience in a People Operations, HR Generalist, or Talent Operations role within a high-growth tech environment
• Hands-on experience with modern HRIS and payroll platforms (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, Gusto)
• Strong understanding of US employment compliance, labor laws, and best practices
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Bonus: Experience managing global contractors and working with EOR (Employer of Record) providers
