About the role

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care.

The People Operations Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and operational support across People Operations with primary responsibility for HRIS administration and payroll support.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the HRIS, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain organizational structures, job, compensation, and employee records while supporting data integrity and system administration.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc HR, payroll, and workforce reports and dashboards and perform routine data audits.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and support system enhancements, testing, integrations, documentation, and process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary backup for payroll processing, including payroll preparation, validation, audits, adjustments, off-cycle payments, and year-end activities.
  • Maintain payroll records and partner with Finance, managers, and employees to resolve payroll questions and discrepancies.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding day-to-day benefits questions, eligibility, enrollments, life events, and vendor resources.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and terminations in HRIS and vendor systems.
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle transactions, including employment documentation and HRIS updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting payroll processing or serving as payroll backup preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Pay

The role offers a base salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 with a 5% annual bonus.
