People Development Intern

Granger is seeking a People Development Intern to support employee learning, career development, performance management, and organizational improvement initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating development resources, improving employee programs, and supporting projects that impact team members across the organization. This role is ideal for a student interested in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Learning & Development. Ideal Internship Timeline This internship is designed as an extended development opportunity. Begin in a part-time capacity in November 2026 (schedule based on academic availability)Continue working part-time throughout the Spring 2027 semesterTransition into a full-time Summer 2027 internship as a part of Granger's Summer Internship Program Gain increasing levels of responsibility and ownership throughout the experienceHave the opportunity to lead or contribute to a meaningful summer project that creates lasting impact for employees and the organization What You'll Do Learning & Development Coordinate filming schedules with department leaders for New Hire Orientation (NHO) contentAssist in the development and maintenance of onboarding and training resourcesEdit and produce employee learning videos using ClipChampOrganize and maintain a centralized library of training content Organizational Development Assist with creating visually engaging career path resourcesSupport employee development initiatives and programsHelp improve tools and resources that support employee growth and performance Performance Management Support Create video tutorials and job aids for Granger's performance management program (PULSE)Assist with the preparation and distribution of performance reporting materialsSupport communication and adoption of employee development resources Employee Communications Help develop content for the monthly People Development newsletterCreate graphics, stories, and informational content that support employee growth and engagement Special Projects Support process documentation and improvement effortsAssist with HR and organizational auditsOrganize and maintain employee development resources and recordsContribute to department projects that improve the employee experience What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related fieldStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCreative mindset with an eye for design and presentationComfortable learning new technology and software toolsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications Bonus Points If You Have Experience With Video editing software (ClipChamp, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)Presentation designNewsletter or content creationGraphic design tools What You'll Gain Real-world experience supporting employee development initiativesExposure to organizational development and performance management practicesExperience creating professional communications and learning resourcesOpportunities to collaborate with leaders across the organizationOwnership of meaningful projects that create lasting impact Why This Internship Is Different This internship offers a blend of people development, organizational development, and operational support experience.
