About the role
Reporting to the Director of People, the People Business Associate plays an essential role supporting day-to-day HR operations, frontline workforce initiatives, and employee engagement programs within a dynamic manufacturing plant facility. This role provides an opportunity to partner directly with plant leadership and operational teams to cultivate a positive facility culture, streamline HR processes, and elevate the employee experience. By leveraging HR analytics and organizational tools, you will deliver actionable insights that support factory reliability, operational performance, and strategic workforce plans.

Responsibilities
- Partner with People Business Partners, plant functional leaders, and Centers of Excellence (CoE) to deliver proactive employee engagement initiatives tailored to a manufacturing environment.
- Utilize HR technology platforms, Google Sheets, and plant workforce metrics to generate data insights that optimize staffing plans, shift efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support frontline talent development and succession tracking by coordinating capability reviews, supporting skill-building programs, and tracking workforce capability standards.
- Guide plant supervisors and managers on employee relations processes, corrective action documentation, performance management, and compliance with facility standards.
- Coordinate site-level change management and operational projects to foster a positive labor climate and support continuous manufacturing improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive human resources experience, ideally supporting a manufacturing, plant, or industrial operations environment.
- Technical proficiency utilizing HRIS software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Google Sheets) for data collection and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience supporting foundational HR processes, such as employee relations tracking, compliance documentation, or onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HR support experience within a multi-national CPG, FMCG, or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to enhance HR workflow efficiency and reporting.
- Strong consultative problem-solving skills, stakeholder communication, and comfort working on the plant floor alongside cross-functional teams.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR).
Pay
Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $127,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
