About the role

Responsibilities

  • Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to help them explore, create, and meet their recovery goals.
  • Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture, ensuring that each member’s perspective is recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming.
  • Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills, supporting a least restrictive environment for individuals experiencing emergencies related to mental health or addiction challenges.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Peer Certification must be maintained throughout employment
  • California: Obtain Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA prior to date of hire and maintain throughout employment
  • Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

Qualifications

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $21.38 - $25.76. $1,000 sign on bonus. Pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Schedule

Shifts available: Full-Time | DAYS | Shifts: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Days: Monday - Friday
