Responsibilities
- Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to help them explore, create, and meet their recovery goals.
- Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture, recognizing, understanding, respecting, and integrating each member’s point of view and preferences.
- Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment for individuals experiencing emergencies related to mental health or addiction challenges.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification must be maintained throughout employment
- California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification must be obtained within 120 days of your date of hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care
- Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
Qualifications

Pay
Expected starting wage is $23.00. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Schedule
Shifts Available: Full-Time | NOC | Shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Sunday - Thursday
