MaineHealth Behavioral Health is seeking a Peer Recovery Partner to provide one-on-one and group support to individuals in the community, helping them connect to wellness and recovery opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to people in the community, at their homes, and/or at the work location.
- Facilitate group sessions and support individuals in accessing wellness and recovery resources in their communities.
Requirements
- Some college coursework preferred.
- Completion of, or ability to complete, relevant training such as the State of Maine Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) Certification. Provisional CIPSS Certification may be required within 9 months of start date. Ability to maintain certification is required if applicable.
- Recovery Coach training may also be required upon hire or within 9 months of start date.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
- Experience providing one-on-one and/or group facilitation peer support preferred.
- Must be receiving or have received services and/or supports related to a history of substance use, be in active recovery, and willing to self-identify on this basis with peers and in the community.
- Computer proficiency required.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
