Job Overview
The Peer Outreach and Support Coordinator will serve as a peer leader and connector between students and University leadership, aiming to elevate student voice, strengthen trust, and promote a culture of empathy, belonging, and shared responsibility.
This role is intentionally designed to reflect a near-peer model, centering individuals who can authentically relate to and engage with undergraduate student experiences. The Coordinator will engage in outreach, advocacy, communication, and collaboration that center student experience and strengthen relationships between students and administrators.
Position Summary
Peer Outreach and Support Coordinator (Student Services Professional II)
- Full-time, temporary, non-exempt position ending on or before one year from date of hire.
- Reappointment dependent on performance and administrative/budgetary considerations.
- Required to work in person on campus.
Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,083 - $5,250 per month
- CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,083 - $7,228 per month
- Salary commensurate with background and experience.

- 15 paid holidays annually, 14 scheduled on specific days, and a Personal Holiday.
