About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team, serving infants and toddlers in a family-centered, culturally responsive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct family-centered screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine eligibility and contribute to evaluation reports.
  • Educate caregivers on child development across diverse cultural and community contexts.
  • Provide coaching and support to families in natural environments or via telehealth, promoting health and development.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) that respect cultural, racial, gender, and socio-economic identities.
  • Build strong relationships with families and community members, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, peer coaching, and in-services, while embracing cultural and linguistic diversity.

Requirements

  • Degree in speech and hearing sciences or related field.
  • Required licensure and ASHA certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Skills

  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with sensory processing, play-based therapy, and feeding therapy is a plus.
  • Ability to operate with self-awareness, cultural humility, and a collaborative mindset.
