About the Role
We are seeking a caring Pediatric Room Assistant to support classroom activities and transportation needs at Manchester Pediatric Medical Day Care. This role ensures a safe, nurturing environment for children while assisting with pick-up and drop-off routes as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers and nurses with daily classroom activities
- Supervise, engage, and assist children with hygiene and developmental needs
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Drive the center vehicle safely on assigned transportation routes
- Ensure proper and safe loading/unloading of children
- Assist with any additional duties as needed to support classroom and transportation operations
Requirements
- Experience working with children preferred
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, assist, and support children as needed
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
