Responsibilities
- Supports a robust consultative service in the hospital, PICU, PCICU and NICU
- Provides the leading pulmonary support for the multidisciplinary NICU based Chronic Lung Care (CLC) Program
- Works closely with a team of providers including a neonatologist and a nurse practitioner in a well-established BPD program
- Engages in weekly inpatient rounding, multi-disciplinary outpatient clinics and active involvement in the institutions chapter of the BPD Collaborative
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited program
- Successful completion of a 3-year Pediatric ACGME approved fellowship program
- Eligible for New York State Medical License
- Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Experience with ventilator management
- Experience with interventional bronchoscopy
- Comfort with diagnosis and management of pulmonary vascular disease
- Experience diagnosing and managing childhood diffuse and interstitial lung disease
- Sleep medicine board certified/board eligible
Pay
- Compensation range from $240,000 to $295,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
