About the role

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Services, Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division.

Responsibilities

  • Primary clinical responsibilities at Children's Wisconsin Milwaukee Campus
  • Practice partners comprised of five Ophthalmologists and five Optometrist providing a supportive and collegial team environment
  • Academic engagement through participation in weekly departmental academic conference, virtual attendance of grand rounds presentation, among other opportunities available
  • Access to robust research infrastructure and support for scholarly activity
  • Career development resources tailored to individual interests and goals
  • Pursue subspecialty interests within a flexible and collaborative division

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification (or eligibility) in Ophthalmology
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin

Qualifications

  • Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist

Our Eye Program at Children's Wisconsin proudly treats more than 12,000 children each year. Parents from Wisconsin and surrounding state trust their kids' eye health to our team of qualified ophthalmologists and optometrists. Our specialists have the most pediatric eye care experience in the region and are actively involved in clinical research studies, including national studies funded by the National Institutes of Health. We offer children premier, comprehensive pediatric ophthalmologic, optometric and orthoptic care. Whether your child needs a routine eye exam or diagnosis and treatment for eye disease, our team of experts can readily collaborate to offer the best possible care.
